We consider our anniversary to be the day we had our first date, since we had met briefly on different occasions. During one of these occasions, I asked them out on a date to the Naples Botanical Garden. As we meandered through the garden, I realized I wanted to keep exploring the world with them. This is when I knew that there would be more dates.

We were visiting my best friend back in Bonita Springs, where we decided to visit the Naples Botanical Gardens. It was my best friend’s first time at the gardens, and Joel’s perfect excuse to pop the big question. We stopped where we took our very first picture together as a couple, and he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I obviously said YES!

The moment was finally here after two years. We decided to elope as we knew we did not want a traditional wedding. After some research, we picked the beautiful wilderness of Sedona as our setting. It was a day full of emotions, laughs, and most importantly, love.
